Background Info:

Stephen and Kathryn were individually called by God to missions in college. In 2008, they were married and began praying about where the Lord would have them serve His kingdom. God opened the door for them to serve with Asian Access as Church Planting Associates.

Ministry Assignment:

Stephen & Kathryn were accepted in the summer of 2009 as candidates to serve as Church Planting Associates in Japan.  They recently moved to Sapporo, Hokkaido in Japan's northernmost island for their first term, following their depuation phase of bulding their support development team based in Fresno, California.

Words of Wisdom...

If you suspect God might be calling you to overseas ministry, ...

• Pray, pray, and pray some more. Cast your nets wide then ask & allow God to close the doors He wants closed, then walk obediently through those He has opened.

When in Japan, be sure to...

Get yourself invited to a barbecue party (or two). The food and fellowship can't be beat.

With whom would you like to network?

Stephen would like to network with other artists, such as cartoonists and videographers. Kathryn would like to network with teachers, especially those living and working internationally.

What are some ways that you see God blessing your life and ministry?

Through this period of support raising, we have seen God make a way where their seemed to be none. He has continued to show Himself faithful, even with our lack of faith.

What would you like some of your "ultimate contributions" to be:

To let our lives serve as a testimony to the Love and generosity of our Father in Heaven.
