Why am I serving with Asian Access?
Like most people there are many different things into which I could be putting my energy. However, I serve with Asian Access because I know of no other place where I can use my gifts and see such a multiplying effect for the Kingdom of God. |
Background Info:
Bruce Johnson has been involved in missions and ministry since 1974. He helped develop and served as COO, mentor, and speaker for Arrow Leadership Ministries, an advanced leadership development program in North America which has grown into an international model with affiliates in Australia, England, Canada, South Africa, and Poland. He served on the staff of Campus Crusade for Christ and worked on many projects with Dr. Bill Bright.
Over the past 10 years Bruce has helped develop three leadership development ministries. Before joining the staff of Asian Access he had a full-time consulting practice as a leadership, boards and directional strategies specialist for ministries and churches. Bruce has served as interim CEO for an international ministry taking it through a leadership transition, redefining its strategic direction and hiring his replacement. Assignments have taken him throughout North America, Asia, Europe, and the Middle East.
Ministry Assignment:
Bruce became Interim President on October 1, 2007 -- just the fourth president in Asian Access' 40-year history. In addition, as VP for Leadership Development, he continues to oversee the ministries in Asia, working closely with the national leaders in each of the countries.
Has been with Asian Access since June 2004. Mary is an accomplished artist and wonderful mother to their two adult sons, Luke and Olin.
