My dear friends, I trust that you have experienced a joyous Christmas season. And now, as we prepare to enter a new year, I pray that you will have a blessed year ahead in 2014.
But before we say goodbye to 2013, I want to give our friends a progress report on our matching challenge for Japan which expires December 31, 2013.
We are about 87% ($173,571) of our $200,000 and we stil need $26,429 to reach our matching challenge from the Maclellan Foundation.
This grant is targeted for church multiplication and leadership development in Japan. Every dollar designated toward this effort will be matched dollar for dollar up to $200,000 if it is received before December 31, 2013.
When fully matched, The Maclellan Foundation, Inc. grant will become $400,000, which will give Asian Access the resources to start eight new church multiplication networks by the end of 2014. Asian Access has already seen 25 church multiplication networks established in Japan. These funds will help bring the networks to one-third of the 2020 target of 100.
I have until December 31, 2013 to meet this match to help bring the hope of Christ to the country of Japan. As the year draws to a close, I would like to ask you to prayerfully consider a special year-end gift of $50, $75 or $100 to be doubled by the match. Or perhaps God has blessed you in such a way that you could give $250, $500 or even $1,000 to be doubled.
Thank you for prayerfully considering this opportunity to bring hope and healing to the nation of Japan.
You may double your gift by clicking the blue "Donate Now" button or by visiting: http://www.asianaccess.org/donate. Or send your check to Asian Access, PO Box 3307, Cerritos, CA 90703.
Thank you in advance for whatever you can do to bring hope to Japan. On behalf of everyone at Asian Access, we wish you a very happy new year.
Finally, be encouraged by what God has done in 2013...
For His Kingdom,
Joe Handley, President
Asian Access
