Japan (MNN) – Seven years ago on the afternoon of March 11, a massive earthquake shifted Japan’s Honshu island by several feet. The moving earth resulted in a series of tsunamis, the first of which struck the Fukushima nuclear power plant at a height of 45 ft, knocking out its backup generators. John Worcester, Asian Access faculty from ChurchPlanting.net, recently taught for us here in Japan after teaching for us in Mongolia. The seminar here in Tokyo was done in concert with Biblical Church of Tokyo. Prior to the seminar, we had a dynamic discussion where John made a provocative statement:“It’s as if 'conversion' has become a bad word.” After reading the news and following the reports of Billy Graham’s legacy, this statement struck me even more powerfully. The essence of Graham’s ministry was all about people converting to Christ.
