Day One.12 blurPressures on Christians in many parts of Asia have never been greater. Government repression, religious extremism, and outright persecution are on the rise. But in spite of these pressures—or perhaps because of them--God continues to open doors to provide courageous leaders the opportunity to form new Asian Access movements. One such opportunity is happening right now. 19 leaders from a “closed” country are, even as we speak, sharing the issues and problems they face in their country with ADV (National Director for A2/Sri Lanka and Vice President for Partnership Development) and MAH (National Director for A2/Cambodia). ADV and MAH are facilitating an Orientation Session, giving these leaders a “taste” of the Asian Access learning community...

A2/Philippines Class 1 GraduationAj Moldez is a man of many talents, gifts, and callings. A landscape architect by trade, his Philippines-based firm is set up as a Business as Mission—designed to plant shalom and the presence of the gospel through landscape architecture and design. He also serves on the board of Peace Builders Community Inc., an NGO committed to working for peace with indigenous communities in conflict areas. And through PBC, he has helped to innovate Coffee for Peace, using coffee as a means to establish peace and shalom in conflict areas, tribes, and communities. What Aj is not is a pastor. So when his father, Rev. Herman Moldez, asked Aj to serve as a photographer for the “graduation ceremony for the Asian Access Philippines First Class”, Aj had no idea what he was getting into. It wasn’t until Aj arrived that he realized that his father was one of the graduates.

Vision Festa Church Multiplication Conference

vision festa panelThe Church in Japan faces a crisis. And Japan’s pastors and church leaders are stepping up to face it head-on. The crisis? Unless the Church begins to grow immediately, it is possible that the Christian community in Japan will literally die out within 30 years. It’s stark evidence that illustrates how difficult it has been for the Gospel to impact the Japanese culture. The encouragement? Leaders in Japan are collaborating to explore new ways to plant and multiplying churches. In October, over 100 leaders from throughout Japan came together at Vision Festa...

Why A2?

Why are you serving with Asian Access?

The Kingdom of God on earth is expressed and advanced primarily through the Church. . . and the Church is expressed and advanced through the ministries of Godly, gifted leaders. A2 is one of the most effective ministries I know in growing, mentoring and supporting effective leaders in the most dynamic mission field of our time, Asia. I'm thrilled and humbled to join such an amazing team of men and women.
