pastor-obscured-webMany of our friends in Asia serve as pastors and national leaders while facing harassment, oppression, and outright persecution. They persevere with amazing courage as, in the words of a Western colleague, “They feel that suffering is part of their calling.” By coming alongside these choice leaders who serve Christ on the front lines, we can encourage and equip them to weather the deep challenges they face.

Will you join us in supporting a persecuted pastor? For a little over $400 a month, you can sponsor a pastor through Asian Access’ two-year training and mentoring process. Twenty caring friends, contributing just $20 per month each, can provide the resources to enable one more persecuted pastor to get the invaluable training, support, and mentoring provided by the Asian Access learning community.

The greatest need in the Church of Asia is leader development

By investing in these persecuted pastors, you will encourage their hearts and strengthen their hands.

Strengthen the feeble hands, steady the knees that give way; say to those with fearful hearts, “Be strong, do not fear; your God will come, he will come with vengeance; with pine retribution he will come to save you. — Isaiah 35:3-4

“Joe, we praise God when we are persecuted. When we are persecuted, it makes people more curious about the kingdom and many come to Christ. The authorities don’t realize the power of what they are doing. So, we thank God that we are able, even in persecuted scenarios, to see the kingdom grow.”
