Asian Access board member, Kärin Primuth serves as the CEO of visionSynergy, a ministry focused on helping mission movements like Asian Access become stronger in partnership. They are very impressive and I hope you’ll check them out – http://visionsynergy.net/
Most recently Kärin sent me a letter highlighting the impact Asian Access has had on a new venture they are doing. Here’s what Kärin had to say:
Serving on the Asian Access board has not only provided many insights for my own board development, but what I’ve learned about leadership development has also been instrumental in shaping visionSynergy’s network leader development initiatives.
We've consistently seen that one of the major barriers to unleashing spiritual transformation is a lack of Christian leaders with skills needed to facilitate collaboration in culturally complex and spiritually resistant places. As a result, our team has designed a two-year leadership development experience for ministry leaders who want to launch mission networks. Influenced by the A2 model, the “Synergy Catalyst Program” includes four face to face workshops and monthly coaching within a peer learning context.
The effectiveness of the A2 model of leadership development has significantly influenced the design of our new Synergy Catalyst program which is specifically focused on developing collaborative leaders who have the unique skills to launch and lead effective networks and partnerships aiming to reach the unreached.
We have seen that the framework and values of the A2 program are a proven model for leadership development which prioritizes learning within a relational cohort. We have adapted this model and are adding monthly coaching with leaders who have the goal of launching a new network aiming to reach the unreached.
Last month Tim Brown, our Director of South Asia, worked with one of our regional associates to launch the first cohort. Monthly coaching of these leaders has begun already, and they are making exciting progress mapping out their plans to start at least ten new church planting networks. In 2019 we hope to start additional cohorts in two other regions as well as a virtual cohort for participants around the globe.

I got so excited when I read this letter. I’m thrilled for two reasons:
- Asian Access is showing a multiplied effect once again by influencing another movement!
- Look what God is doing through visionSynergy! They are awesome.
It’s so encouraging to see all that God is doing to spread his love and truth to a lost and broken world.
Check out visionSynergy to see how they serve the Global Church and learn about collaboration and partnership. They are the best in the business!
