From the President

I am so thrilled to join the board of a great ministry birthed from my home church, ReIGNITE Hope. Several years ago, seeing the plight of the homeless and the prisons of LA, my former colleague Steve Bunyard launched this ministry and now he’s serving with them full time. I joined the board last fall because I’m so proud of what they are doing and because we have a mutual interest in partnership.

ReIGNITE Hope will be working alongside of Asian Access bringing job skills to both pastors and their churches in some of the neediest countries of the world. Asian Access, in turn, will be integral to strengthening the spiritual and servant leadership of ReIGNITE Hope students and alumni as well as building on our mutual networks around the US and world.

Their vision is to “ReIGNITE Hope in the World One Life at a Time.” And their goal is “to train those on the margins of society with a marketable job skill to change their lives and help end joblessness.” They do so with a Christ-centered approach that Asian Access will help strengthen.

Some of the countries we serve in are hungry for this type of help and thus we’ll be coming alongside as we are able to serve their communities. And, Asian Access can deploy our teachers and networks to help strengthen the ministry of ReIGNITE Hope.

I hope you’ll join me some time to learn more about ReIGNITE Hope. Check out their website ReIGNITE Hope and perhaps you could share some of your wisdom in practical job training. Or, perhaps you’d like to join us as mutual faculty sometime as the ministry grows around the world.

I am thrilled to be on their board. What an honor and privilege for me and for Asian Access!

“Let us consider how we may spur one another on toward love and good deeds.”
Hebrews 10:24

More Information

reignite hope logo stacked 700pxABOUT REIGNITE HOPE: Our goal is to train those on the margins of society with a marketable job skill to change their lives and help end joblessness. ReIGNITE Hope is a unique training program that started on Skid Row in downtown Los Angeles teaching valuable job skills to men and women, many of whom have been homeless, gang members, and ex-offenders. They are currently operating in Los Angeles, Philadelphia, Brazil, and the Philippines. Our talented team is dedicated to helping those on the margins of society. We welcome the uniqueness and honor the dignity of every student so that each student feels deeply loved and cared for. We come alongside individuals who have little or no hope in their future and restore hope through high-impact career training and life coaching.
