Dear Friend,

Thank you for your generous support and prayers to bring hope and healing to the nation of Japan the last few years following the horrific tragedy of March 11, 2011. With your help, about $2.6M was raised to bring relief to the people and come alongside churches in their efforts to be the hands and feet of Christ the last few years. During this time, people like you have given an additional $3.1 million toward leader development, church multiplication and holistic ministry. Through your partnership, we are seeing a tremendous outpouring of spiritual responses... responses like I have never seen before in Japan. It is clearly a kairos moment for the people of Japan!

I want to alert you to our recent summary of all the disaster relief projects you have invested in to help make this a reality.

The Lord has marshaled the Church and our partner agencies and mission staff to come alongside churches across the disaster area in a powerful way. In addition to these projects, Asian Access moved half of our staff from other parts of Japan to serve in the disaster areas.

Thank you for partnering with us in this grand endeavor. I pray the report encourages you and the news that handfuls of people are coming to Christ in almost every community I've been visiting the last 5 or 6 trips to the country. This is unheard of and we are grateful to God to see this kind of fruit in what is known as one of the most difficult mission fields and one of the largest unreached people groups of the world.

After two visits to Japan and seeing the fruit of what God was doing, they have extended to us a $200,000 matching challenge for leadership development and church multiplication.
