Bangladesh (MNN) Yesterday, Cyclone Amphan made landfall in West Bengal, India, near the border of Bangladesh. The storm originated in the Bay of Bengal and was the strongest storm ever recorded in those waters. Before making landfall, the storm dissipated slightly to the equivalent of a category 2 hurricane. The storm first landed at the Sundarbans, a forest reserve that sits on the border of India and Bangladesh and is home to 96 protected tigers. With 165 mph winds and 16-foot waves at landfall, Amphan damaged many old and poorly constructed buildings...Read More Read More
One of the most important lessons I have learnt has been to live intentionally according to the seasons of my life. It has helped me understand God’s unfolding plan for my life and to see how He is at work in various areas of my life at any particular time. There is a liberty that accompanies the person who lives in harmony with the seasons of life. It frees a person from the need to live according to the expectations of other people or to miss God’s Kairos moments that sometimes unexpectedly break into our lives. But it’s just a matter of time before governments shut them down and go after the church leaders. What these countries need is an ultra-secure digital platform that will allow them to meet, worship, and have fellowship away from the prying eyes of their governments.Read More Read More
The Church of Jesus Christ is the most powerful body in the world today. It is the group of people that Satan fears most. Consequently, one of Satan’s main assignments is to suppress this truth so that the church will never find out about it, and start living it out in the power and authority of the Holy Spirit that Jesus promised His disciples. Occasionally, there is a person who takes this truth seriously and in the process discovers the reality of Jesus’ words, “The Kingdom of Heaven is like yeast that a woman took and mixed into about 60 pounds (27 kilograms) of flour until it worked ALL THE WAY THROUGH THE DOUGH.” (Matthew 13:33)Read More Read More
Yesterday, we posted a video clip from Takeshi Takazawa (Takeshi talks Crisis, Danger, and Opportunity) in 2016 where he shares about the two Chinese characters for "crisis" which are made up of "danger" and "opportunity". He was applying it to the Great Japan Disaster (3.11.11). He reminded us...Read More Read More
